Probable Causes - Probable Causes gives you the most likely root causes to a specific DTC. These are displayed in the most common order to enable investigation to start in the most likely place.

Datalists - The datalist section of "Guided Diagnostics" gives you reference values for the relevant parameters related to the DTC. The reference values are arranged in different states of the system. For example there can be parameters for engine idling and for raised RPM.
